Paw Paw's Patio...

After the Bloomin Bash we hopped in the van and went to help Paw Paw finish what we started. Boy as soon as I can get a picture of the finished product I will post it because the boys did GOOD! It seems to have solved some drainage problems too. YEA! We had fun playing with everyone while we were there. We played so hard Kyler fell asleep at the dinner table.

Bloomin' Bash

Today was the Bloomin'Bash at church and we went to have a bash. Boy did we. The kids had so much fun running through the bounce house shooting the basketball inside and climbing up to slide down the big inflatable slide inside it. After a few dozen runs, they went in to the egg hunt. Brilliantly handled with the weather we have had recently. They hid the eggs inside a room under a colorful layer of balloons. Boy was that exciting. We had to constantly remind them to drag their feet of avoid popping any more balloons than had already been casualties! The got some major loot and had soo much fun. We are glad the cousins are able to enjoy these things together, it is fun to watch them play together. The funny look on Kyler's face with the Easter bunny is because there were SOO many distractions.

"Mandy lay with me..."

This morning I got to see one of the sweetest big brother moments. Kyler every once in a while will ask for Mandy to lay with him and today she did. They are so cute. We all miss Aunt Kelly's but it sure is nice to see moments like this.

STICKERS!!!

Tonight Kyler got stickers! I told him as long as he didn't stick them on our things it was okay... This is what his creative almost three year old imagination came up with.

Escape Artist....

As parents you really enjoy getting to see your children's personality grow and develop. We were pretty sure Mandy was our stubborn, cautious, thinker....it was all an act! She has become a daredevil this month. She has started standing up is shopping carts (yes, while buckled), climbing everything and today she decided to get out of her high chair onto the table while Mama was helping Kyler and Daddy was cleaning up! Unbelievable. She is beginning to truly come into her own. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Paw Paw's Helpers

Paw Paw needed some help so we went up to visit them today and let the boys work. And boy did they work! Tomorrow we are going back to help some more. I will put it to ya this way...Kyler didn't take a nap and helped/played all day long! Mandy enjoyed getting to play with Grandma Sarah, Gus, Precious and Auntie Emma. She got some playtime with the boys but we mostly tried to stay out of the way. Auntie Emma and I got to go spend some sister girl time together which is rare but was wonderful! I hope we get to do some more before she heads off to college. It will be so much fun to watch her walk across the stage since I walked her to her first day of Kindergarten. So cool!

She enjoyed the time with the kids and grandkids. We all had a great time just spending time together. Happy Birthday Gran, We love you!

Rewards...

We were all so good today, Grammy bought ice cream!

Zoo with Grammy!

Okay, I created a photostory of our trip to the zoo but can't figure out how to get it to show up if that is even possible. So I will just add some pictures. We sure did have fun with Grammy today. She got back in town last night and so we got to play today before we return to work tomorrow. The kids did great for the entire time we were at the zoo and it was just cool enough for almost all the animals to be up and moving. The turtles weren't out because it wasn't warm enough for them. We got to see all the animals except the kimodo dragons and snakes and bats, Kyler decided to pass those up. We could barely get him to eat because he was ready to see the monkeys and tigers. There was a lot of in and out of the stroller which was a lot of work but worth it to see their faces with the animals. Thanks Grammy!
