A BIG first!

Alex had a slumber party while her brothers were away last night and this is what we saw when we returned from dinner! I wonder who TP'd us???? I guess this is a start of a TP war....slumberparty anyone? HA! What are we teaching our kids you ask?? Only TP homes whose owners have a sense of humor and ENJOY life! OH, and be ready to clean it up!

Happy 1st Birthday Connor!

Saturday we went to Connor's 1st Birthday party! Everyone had a great time and he seemed to really like his gifts and having the kids running around with him. Happy Birthday Connor, we love ya!

Mandy's Party

We celebrated Mandy's 4th birthday with a bash of a party at her dance/tumbling gym. She said it was "AWESOME!" and "The best ever!" I am so thankful that it was great. She had a great turnout of friends and family to wish her a Happy Birthday...we couldn't even all fit in the "party room". She loved all of her gifts and getting to play with her friends. One friend even signed up to start classes with her. When we told her she simply said "YES!" Anyone with kiddos can hear the inflection with THAT one..ha! Thanks to all our friends and family for helping us make this a special event for our princess. We love you!

Happy Valentine's Birthday!

Sounds a little confused I know! But due to circumstances beyond our control the kids got their birthday present from us and all 6 grandparents early...on Valentines day!! They are so thrilled and each time a grandparent comes to visit they very clearly get surprised that they haven't seen it up since it is from them! Too cute! If you have seen our weather it wasn't an optimal time for putting together playsets but like I said out of our control! Long story short we got it done pretty quickly and FROZE doing it! The things we do for our kids!

Gran's Salon

After all the play in the snow and some cartoon down time, Gran got started on some haircuts. Kyler, Austin, Gage, Mandy and Kyle all got haircuts today. Yes...Mandy!!! Nothing dramatic just a good trim, her hair was so long she actually had to stand up to make it easier for Gran to cut. It took a little over an inch in some areas but looks good and healthy, thanks Gran! Beautiful.

Snow Angels...

Need I say more? Each of them is getting into their own these days. It is absolutely wonderful to see them develop not only physically growing up but with school, learning, personality, likes and dislikes. They are such fabulous kids!

Playtime!

Those pictures of the beautiful snow? Yep, we trampled ALL over it...and enjoyed every second! Adults and kids alike running and throwing snowballs, so much fun. Gran even got in a few good shots! You can see all the footprints ... no snow left untouched in our yards.

Snow Dogs

The dogs seem to enjoy it for short periods of time too! It was actually touching Windy's belly when she went out first thing this morning. They are so funny! Can you believe we got this much snow...here???

My First Valentine of 2010

Grandma Cindy helped Mandy make a project....a valentine! So cute and sweet...they did a great job and had fun doing it! The message is PERFECT from our girl too! We love you too baby girl!

More snow play

Woo hoo! Daddy and Kyler got invited to ride 4 wheelers in the snow with our neighbor and now Kyler insists he needs one...HA! They had a great time and it was just as much fun to see them having a blast.

Holy Snow Plow...

Looks like we will be "snowed in" tomorrow! Can you believe this is Texas?? Texas in February?? Our Valentine's snow...apparently this is the most snow we have seen since 1978!! The kids are loving it so much I can't get them in for too long. We had snowball fights, built a snowman, ran, played and the boys rode 4 wheelers with a neighbor down the street! The 4 wheelin pics will come later...
