Rough!

Last night was Kyler's first trip to the ER...yep...hospital. Sunday at the church picnic, his little fall didn't seem to phase him but yesterday he was a little sore and making a strange noise when he breathed. Worried is a bit of an understatement. We packed up and headed out, a challenge since he FREAKED out when he heard the word hospital. Really!! I have never seen him be so afraid of anything; screaming, grabbing hold of anything he could to not be taken out of the house and then to not get buckled...a couple of hours and a few xrays later, an upper respiratory infection with swollen tonsils! I know! They don't seem to connect but he swears nothing hurts...he slipped up admitting his throat was sore while we were debating on whether or not to let him go to his first soccer practice or not tonight...now...NOT! Hopefully these antibiotics will kick it and all will be well soon.
