Yep...two teams to track this year! Mandy has decided to play blastball (an intro to t-ball) with her cousin Gage. They are SOOO cute! I remember Kyler starting but I forgot how cute it all is, especially the uniforms that swallow them up! She hit a homerun in her first game...go girl! I know that this seems big (and it is) but remember that at this stage you still have 7 kids tackling the ball when someone hits it so they kept sending her on. She had so much fun and was VERY proud of herself telling me about it. Yes, I said telling me...we missed it but for a fabulous reason, Gran was turning 60! Grammy, Poppy, PawPaw and Grandma Sarah all stood in for us and it went great. Thanks grandparents!
The MADNESS of a working mom and keeping up with the fast paced life of her family of four!

Go Muckdogs!
T-ball season has officially begun. Kyler is on the Muckdogs with 3 of his friends and they are having a blast! Learning a lot too. They are so cute out there playing ball, I just LOVE watching. Kyle is the Assistant Coach and our friends are the head Coaches. Kyler is hitting great, running much faster than last season and improving on the field every game (a heck of a short stop)! I am a proud Mama. I am still amazed at how competitive some of the other teams are at this level...it's t-ball for pete's sake!! As long as our kids are loving the game and learning skills I am ok and so far we are!! Woo Hoo, go Muckdogs!

End of break slumber party!!
Yes, I am a slacker on this blog lately....I KNOW! This was the Friday wrapping up Spring Break. We started the day meeting at Grammy's house for our annual spring break day with Aunt Lisa and Sydney, we headed out to see the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid, we got to see half (No kidding!). The film messed up but I promised Kyler we would go back so he could see the whole thing. He was surprisingly into it. Followed it up with a quick trip to Sam Moon's and Target and then Mandy brought Sydney home with us. We traded Alex for Kyler for the night and in the morning we did toenails. They are so much fun! Who knew someone as NON girly as me could do toenails on 3 little girls and all of us like it! HA! What a blessing that I live close enough to family to do these little things. Thank you Lord!

Family Camp out
Sunday morning we headed out to Papa's land for a family camp out since Daddy was able to get a few days off..YEA!! We all had a great time, including Windy and Possum. As soon as we got to the gate Windy was going nuts and ready to run. Possum tuned out to be a little wuss, if she couldn't find Windy she was right underfoot. By the end she was almost as confident as Windy out there. Kyler was at home and actually asked if he could live there a few times. It was very cool to see him so in his element! He took Mandy all over teaching her things he has learned going out there with Daddy. So neat! Mandy was just happy to stay in the truck for awhile....yep, she didn't want to go "to nature"...AT FIRST! By the time we were leaving she was perfectly happy and all over the place. She was definitely a Daddy's girl for this trip, I loved watching it! She wouldn't even let me help her potty...Daddy's help only! We explored, fished, rode the 4wheeler and jeep, went to the Cafe to eat, shot BB guns, sited in Daddy's gun, had a picnic, danced, played baseball, worked on Daddy's feeder and "talked" to the cows! What a great 2 days. Daddy really seemed to enjoy doing his things with the kids and I and Mandy followed him, held his hand and absorbed everything he was teaching her. I loved being out there just the four of us and getting some time as a family with no tv or chores! I am truly blessed.

Kyler's last season of t-ball
Yep, this is Kyler's last season in t-ball before he moves up to Coach Pitch. I can hardly believe it! He is growing sooo fast. I am very proud of him in so many ways. He has developed so much since our first season...and still loves it all. Amazing to me. As long as he is learning and having fun, I am all in with him! He and Mandy both wanted to play while we were camping this weekend. I played ball with them at Papa's land and boy he can really hit that ball when he is paying attention! I had to run a long way to get a few of them. Then he brought me the bat and ball asking if I would hit them to him, ofcourse! We had a blast!
Mandy's Blastball Practices
Blastball is a new game introducing kids to the skills for t-ball/baseball. I wasn't sure how Mandy would be with sports since she is SOO into dance/tumbling and all other GIRLY things but she is really enjoying it. Especially getting to play with Gage and some friends she has met before. Here are a few shots from practice...I will come back with game shots when we get there!

Pastries with Parents
Kyler asked me to go to Pastries with Parents at his school with him. It is a morning (before school) breakfast of donuts, coffee and juice for students and parents. Daddy couldn't make it but I was able to make arrangements. I am so glad I did. We got there and had donuts together, I got to visit with some of the moms and teachers (watched him run around the gym with his friends) then headed off to work! In a mad dash, I saw more police than ever on my commute! Thank you Kyler for wanting me to come... I really enjoyed the time!

Off we go!!
So this week marked the start of Spring T-ball 2010! Kyler is playing his last season of t-ball before moving up to Coach pitch in the fall and Mandy is playing her first season of Blastball (a step before t-ball, mostly learning skills). WOW! We have t-ball on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays...busy busy and TONS of fun. The kids are so excited and I was really impressed at how Mandy got out there at her first practice, I wasn't sure she was really going to play...I think it really helped having Gage on her team and it turns out some other kids she knows too. Go girl! Kyler ofcourse was thrilled to be back out on the field, basketball was fun but he "is a baseball player". Geez, these babies crack me up daily!! Games will begin after spring break so be ready, this should be a fun one. OH! And Kyle is Kyler's Assistant Coach and as hard as he tried to stay in the bleachers he did get out and help at Mandy's practice too....he only THINKS he can stay out of it!

Family Dinner
To celebrate Mandy's actual birthday she wanted to go to Olive Garden so we played hooky from dance and did! We met up with all her grandparents for a fantastic dinner. Aunt Kelly asked if she could make her a cake and Boy did she! She sent a Barbie cake with Uncle Shawn, Austin, Alex and Gage. Mandy LOVED it!! Check it out...very cool Aunt Kelly, we missed you. It was a nice family dinner in honor of our little princess, we love you Mandy!
