Yesterday was Kyler's last day of Kindergarten! I can hardly believe this year is over. I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished this year. I got to go to his awards ceremony and he got several wonderful awards including Outstanding Academic Achievement in Science. I was proud and he was too! It was very special for me to get to see him, Austin, and Alex receive their awards. Now we have some fantastic first graders running around! After school was out they went to a friend's end of school pool party....Mandy got to go too! I got there right at the end from work but here are my two with their party favors...
The MADNESS of a working mom and keeping up with the fast paced life of her family of four!

Memorial Weekend 2010
Our tradition of camping on Memorial Weekend every year has really grown! What a wonderful way to escape and enjoy some time with family and friends. This year we had 9 adults and 12 kids!! Yep...12 kids. Crazy I know but SOO much fun. They enjoyed each other so much they all wanted to go home to each others houses. Kids crack me up. Our sites were right on the water so we got to swim A LOT and could barely keep the kids out of the water long enough for the sunscreen to soak in. Heck, we barely stayed out of the water because it was SO HOT! We went through so much ice that it probably cost more than the camp sites...ha! I tried to get everyone but us mom's agreed no close bathing suit pics so sorry if I missed something! Another great success and yet we haven't forgotten the reason for this holiday, to remember all of our great soldiers fighting for and that have fought for our country and all it stands for.
Baseball Banquet Spring 2010
Thursday night was the baseball banquet for AYA. They did a great job putting it together, too bad some of the families were so rude and couldn't stop talking to hear every child get their medals...they only stopped for their team making it very difficult for us to hear. Thank goodness our teams were realy so we could get before it was fully over!! The kids were so cute and proud! Good job guys! Go Muckdogs and Go Scrappers!

Playtime
22 May 2010
Yes, we know....
Kyler played so hard with his cousins and sister in the yard last night. It got dark and was time to come in and he did NOT want to stop playing baseball, so he decided to pout and would not give up his bat. Where did he pout? Behind Kyle's truck. YES I know...BAD idea. I was inside getting Mandy ready for bed when Kyle calls in the house (couldn't leave him where he was unattended) telling me to bring the camera because Kyler had fallen asleep. So, I did and this is what I saw...

Kyle knew where he was and apparently had told him to come out MANY times before he fell asleep so he was in no danger since Kyle was fully aware of where he was (all that said...) sometimes you just have to laugh at where kids will pass out. I am amazed at how kids don't know they are tired ... never tired!

Rollerskates
Kyler used his birthday money from Aunt Lynn, Uncle Mark, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Mark and Sydney to buy rollerskates. He puts them on and won't take them off! I think he would have slept in them if I would have let him. He is determined to figure these babies out! I love that about him, he puts his mind to do something and won't quit until he can. What a kid! A week after he got them he got to go on the Principal's Pride Award trip to...yes...a roller rink to skate. And he came home telling me how great it was, he said I pushed my skates to the side like you told me, went really fast and didn't fall once! So precious are these years.

Mandy's Spring Program
I cannot believe my baby has finished her first year of preschool! She has done surprisingly well with a fabulous teacher. Mrs. Monica is truly a gift from God, she has gotten to know and understand Mandy so well that her Fruit of the Spirit award tonight was Self-Control! I have yet to know if that is because she needs it most or because she learned to use it some...Our little preschool program is so good with our kids and they love them each. Mandy ofcourse performed very well since she loves the stage...someday she will be on a big one with an audience not primarily family cheering. Ofcourse we will all still be there cheering her on! She came home today and informed me the she has graduated to Mrs. Robin's class...and she did this with a LOT of pride. I am so proud of my girl and love her for all of her spirit! Just remind me of that when she hits 13!!! Thanks to all the grandparents for coming and supporting her and Gage tonight. We are proud of you both and love you SOOOOO much!
